Last week marked the start of our second season of farm to table dinners. This year my sister Kate invited the chefs/owners of Free Range Kitchen and Seasonal Montana to each prepare a scrumptious feast showcasing Cooper Hereford beef accompanied by an assortment of local produce. High winds and scattered showers sent guests scurrying to the sale barn on Wednesday, but guests were able to dine al fresca under the willow trees on Sunday. It’s always great to see chefs, residents, and visitors supporting and promoting local agriculture.
