Yes, Christmas! Hard to believe jolly old St. Nick will arrive in just a couple of days, and plenty of baby calves soon thereafter. We’ve been busy sorting cows into calving groups and preparing for the busiest time of the year! We were “blessed” with 12+ inches of snow last week. Which means the guys have spent entirely too much time cleaning corrals and moving snow around. 12 inches is quite a lot of snow here in the banana belt of Gallatin Valley.  I’m crossing my fingers and hopeful this was our big storm of the winter. We will see….
