That’s the “Kentucky” Wildcats… not those kittens from up in Kansas.
Many of you know about our annual NCAA Championship pool that we put together following our sale. This year the heavens shone down on me and as I received the Kentucky Wildcats. Normally I’m an underdog kind of a girl. However, when money is involved, I like a solid investment. I’d say KY is about as solid as they come this year – them boys can flat play ball. What many of you may or not know is that one of our fellow Hereford breeders is a KY alum who played four years for the Wildcats under Kentucky basketball baron Adolph Rupp. Yes, the man I’m speaking of is Mr. Roy Roberts. I took liberty to scour the internet and found a few classic pics. of #23. So, here’s to the Wildcats, and here’s to Mr. Roberts ; )
